1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Light Launch Pro, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), headquartered in Meridian, Idaho, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information obtained through the Light Launch Pro platform at app.light-launch.com (the "Application").

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently and responsibly. By using the Application, you consent to the data practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

2.1 Account and Registration Information

Name, email address, company name, phone number, billing address, and password (stored as a secure hash) when you create an account.

2.2 Business and Transaction Data

Bid estimates, invoices, client contact information, job descriptions, payment amounts, and other business records you create within the Application.

2.3 Payment and Financial Information

We do not directly store credit card numbers or full bank account information. Payment processing is handled by QuickBooks Payments (Intuit), which collects and stores payment credentials subject to its own PCI-DSS compliant practices. We receive transaction confirmations, amounts, and status only.

2.4 QuickBooks Integration Data

When you connect your QuickBooks account, we access your QuickBooks data (customers, invoices, payments) via Intuit's OAuth 2.0 API. We store only the OAuth access and refresh tokens necessary to maintain the connection. We do not store your QuickBooks username or password.

2.5 Usage and Technical Data

IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, pages visited, features used, session duration, error logs, and referring URLs.

2.6 Communications

Emails, support tickets, and other correspondence you send us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Application and its features;
  • Process subscription payments and manage your account;
  • Facilitate QuickBooks synchronization and payment processing;
  • Send transactional emails (invoices, payment confirmations, account notifications);
  • Respond to customer support inquiries and resolve disputes;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, security incidents, and abuse;
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve product features and performance;
  • Send service updates and, where permitted, marketing communications (with opt-out option);
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data as follows:

4.1 Service Providers

We engage trusted third-party vendors to support our operations, including cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, and security monitoring. These providers access data only as necessary to perform their functions and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

4.2 Intuit / QuickBooks

Data shared with Intuit via the QuickBooks integration is governed by Intuit's Privacy Statement. We transmit only the data necessary to fulfill the integration functionality you enable.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, prevent fraud, or ensure safety.

4.4 Business Transfers

In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or uses of your personal data.

5. QuickBooks and Third-Party Integrations

Our Application connects to Intuit QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Payments via authorized APIs. When you authorize this connection:

  • We access your QuickBooks data only to provide Application features;
  • We store OAuth tokens securely using industry-standard encryption;
  • You may revoke Application access at any time from your QuickBooks account settings;
  • Intuit's data practices are governed by the Intuit Privacy Statement at intuit.com/privacy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We retain transactional and business records for a minimum of seven (7) years to comply with applicable tax and accounting regulations.

Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law. Aggregate, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, including:

  • TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit;
  • AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest;
  • Role-based access controls limiting employee data access;
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments;
  • Multi-factor authentication options for user accounts.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • Deletion - Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations);

The Application is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. 12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will post the revised Policy at app.light-launch.com/privacypolicy and update the Effective Date. We encourage you to review this Policy regularly. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent Application notice.
